EOR questions and concerns

So let me get this straight.  Because we live together, my husband will no longer qualify to be the EOR.  And since we have no family members nearby, we will need to find someone with whom we are comfortable not only sharing my son’s very significant medical history, very complicated care regimens, and SSN, but also expecting that person to become intimately familiar with his history and care regimens.

We moved to this area shortly before our son was born.  We were unaware he was going to have special needs and thought nothing of moving here without knowing anyone; we had done it many times before.  But because we are generally overwhelmed by those very significant special needs, or exhausted from being overwhelmed by them, we have simply not developed the social network we enjoyed in other places we have lived (and, honestly, given our daily reality probably never will).  Consequently, there is simply no one in this area I am comfortable asking to be a non-paid EOR who will need to become familiar with my son’s significant medical history, care regimens, and SSN.

I hate to sound conspiratorial, but I am really starting to question folks’ motivations here.  Are you just trying to concoct new ways to make our lives even harder?
