Non-Live in EOR are not suitable

Friends or distant relatives may lack practical communication skills or be uncomfortable discussing sensitive matters related to the child's health. This could lead to misunderstandings, miscommunications, and potential conflicts in the child's caregiving plan.

Overall, designating LRI as the EOR is the most suitable option as they possess the emotional connection, knowledge, and dedication needed to provide the best care for the child. Other potential caregivers may not be as equipped or committed, especially considering the non-paid nature of the position, which could lead to burnout and eventually quitting. LRI's active involvement in the child's care and support system within the extended family ensures a stable and loving environment for the child's well-being.
