I urge adoption of a rule to remove unqualified persons from the voting rolls, to include non-citizens, names of deceased persons, minors, and any other category of persons ineligible to vote. This is an urgent matter affecting the general election of Nov. 2023 and subsequent elections. The proposed rule closes a glaring loophole and should be adopted forthwith, before early voting starts in Sept. 2023.
