Outrageous that this even being considered

I have been a Loudoun County resident for 11 years and I am appalled that our board is even entertaining this idea. This is huge step back for our progressive thinking board of supervisors. Data centers shouldn’t be favored over residents.

Data centers themselves was a bad idea to begin with and you are now doubling down on ruining the health and environment of the county. Why were so many data centers approved in the first place without planning on powering them appropriately? Data centers shouldn’t be making money at the expense of health of our families.

Studies have shown that Diesel particulate matter is linked to a number of serious public health problems including aggravating asthma, heart and lung disease, cancer and premature mortality.

Emissions from diesel engines contribute to the production of ground-level ozone which has detrimental effects on residents and environment.

What are we - Diesel dumping grounds for the world’s internet?? This is ridiculous!
