Please understand that families like ours with special needs children already have enough hurdles.

We need flexibility and recognition for our often times heroic efforts to care for our children to learn what's needed to support them to advocate for them and get through each and every hour of every day.

These proposed changes fail to acknowledge the true nature of our lives our challenges the strain and struggle.

Our family of three with two developmentally disabled people, one adult parent and one child oppose these changes.

Please lead and represent with understanding, compassion and kindness. Reject these changes.
