Abuse

I work for a managed care organization and find a lot of abuse for personal care hours within the home. I know people clocking in in a different state that they’re taking care of their loved one in Virginia. Well they are on vacation a lot of it is fraud and it does take away services for people who really need it. There has to be more strict guidelines to follow and the state has to hold these people and their caregivers accountable on this program and they don’t. This is a federal government program taxpayers pay for this and the abuse is awful and they complain about the pay but they get approved for more hours than needed and they can make anywhere between 50 to 60,000 if not more a year that is not shabby, especially if the hours they are warranted is not justified, this program could be lost if not for better boundaries, restrictions, and regulations and accountability
