Concerned parent

I have an adult disabled son and have tried several different agencies to provide care for my son. They have all been unreliable and create extra stress with me working full time and not knowing if an attendant can show up on time. This stress was eliminated by having a parent be a live in caregiver for my son. If my husband or I are unable to be his caregiver then it will significantly impact my ability to work. My son is also non verbal and very disabled and requires special care and knowledge. The process to get an attendant that isn’t my spouse or me is difficult since the hours aren’t regular, change every single renewal time, pay is low, no benefits. Do not take away paid live in parent attendants. I may be forced to put my son in a home.
