Please reject the proposed changes. My son is 21 years old and significantly delayed. He requires the care of a 2-3 year old but he has the ability to move as a 21 year old neurotypical man. I cannot hire outiside help due to his aggressions and other inappropriate behaviors. I quit my professional job to provide care for him because after Covid no one would care for him for under $25 per hour which is what I was making. Please be considerate of the families that are keeping their children from group homes. The cost to the state would be far greater if families decide to put their child in complete care of the state.
