YES to variance

It only makes sense to allow data centers to go off line in times of excessive strain on our electric grid. It not only protects the data, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, will protect hospitals, schools, and residential customers from prolonged electrical outages.

Besides, it's only temporary, and according to the DEQ guidelines, doesn't mean the data centers will go off the grid for the entire months of March, April, May, and July, BUT ONLY WHEN DEQ tells them to.

To those who are against the variance, don't let your aversion to data centers cloud your judgement. DEQ knows what it's doing, which is preventing massive outages which would be detrimental to everyone.
