Commenter: Clifton Forge Moose Lodge No. 1683

Charitable Gaming Use of Proceeds and new gaming regulations

Our organization is one of a small number of charitable organizations in our community.  The 40% of net proceeds and regulations for how our proceeds can be used will cause our lodge to have to close our doors.  Our lodge is struggling due to the economy and now increasing utilities, insurance, and taxes so the regulations as they stand now would make it impossible to make charitable contributions, support our children at Mooseheart, seniors at Moosehaven and the charitable contributions we have always been able to give to our community.  Please consider adjusting your percentages and fees to save our fraternal organizations.

Thank you.
