Charitable Gaming changes

I am a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and this is my opinion on the proposed changes.

I understand that the percentage of donations will go up to 40% in the new changes. I am all for charities, but I believe over time with so much money being donated that the smaller organizations will not survive, and therefore there would be no more donations given. I would suggest a lower percentage of 10 to 20%.

I would also ask that the ability for the organizations to pay their employees from the proceeds be allowed. In my mind, employees are a key factor in allowing the games to be played. without them the games would not be played.

My last point would be the change in deposits to be made weekly. Most of the organizations do not have the business for this to be done weekly, I would suggest more time be given.

Thank you for the chance to voice my opinion and I hope these changes are closely considered.
