These new prohibitive Gaming Regulations will put many if not all of our Aerie Homes and other Fraternal Lodges in Virginia out of business. We really do not think that is your intention. If any Fraternal Organization in the state is forced to shutter their operations this will stop local student scholarships, donations to our fire departments, emergency squads, homeless warming centers, food banks, and other local and national charitable groups. My own Aerie home struggles constantly to pay overhead and employee salaries with the current regulations. It has been extremely difficult for us to fill open positions. Asking people to volunteer their time 40 hours a week is impossible when we can't even find people to fill paid positions. Eagles are "People Helping People" please do not take away our efforts to help local and national organizations and individuals in serious need in our community. With these new regulations we and other Aerie homes in Virginia will have no other choice then to cease operations. Please help us to continue to be "People Helping People." Please.
