Charitable Gaming

Being a Life Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles I know first hand the important work all non profit organizations do for individuals and organizations in need.  I am proud of our motto of “people helping people” and all of the time and effort that we contribute to benefit others.  The revenue we receive from our gaming provides a tremendous amount toward the operations of the clubs and provide the salaries to our hard working dedicated staff.  The proposed increase will adversely affect all non profit organizations efforts in that regard.  We have provided charitable efforts for over 125 years and as good Americans and Virginians we will continue to do so as long as we can survive. We ask you to reconsider this proposal so we all can continue to stay in operation and continue to be  “people helping people”.   This proposal will directly reflect on the sustainability of many of these Fraternal organizations. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
