With fraternal organizations as ours, the 40% tax with hurt not only our lodge but our charitable organizations in our community. Our lodge helps out the kids at Mooseheart , our seniors at Moosehaven and also sponsor's well over fifty 501(C3) groups in our area alone. We  use the gaming proceeds to help offset everyday expense's that occur within the lodge itself. This tax will kill everything  " We" stand for:

(i) a fraternal program and community service within our lodge and chapter system known as the Loyal Order of Moose and the Women of the Moose

(ii) to provide a family environment and education for underprivileged children in residence at Mooseheart, Illinois

(iii) to provide for the needs of senior members at Moosehaven, Florida; and

(iv) to promote membership growth

I hope and pray that this tax is withdrawn from charitable organizations as ours and fellow groups as the Eagles, VFW and others that strive to help out our " families "
