Thank you for your time concerning the new charitable gaming laws.  I am a member of the fraternal order of eagles.  Our mission is people helping people.   We currently donate to so many charities that it would be difficult to name them all. These start at local communities to the national level.   These organizations are often dependent upon our efforts to donate our money and time volunteering to improve the lives of so many.

The proposed changes would negatively impact how we can conduct our operations.  The 40% in donations and use of proceeds.  The 40% donation is a high amount in the overall operations.   10-20 % would be  a much more manageable number.  Also the use of proceeds.   The proposed changes effecting how we pay staff and pay bills would be too great a burden if we cannot use our charitable gaming to assist to pay.   Since the electronic gaming has existed our ability to donate more money has allowed us to donate thousands to millions collectively.  Much more than ever before.  We are a non-profit organization and all money's collected are used in this manner.   Regulation is important but please take into account of how this will impact communities across the state and country.  Best regards  Kim Botkin.
