Charitable Organizations such as the Elks, Eagles, Moose, VFW, and The American Legion have been for many years providing assistance to Veterans, Seniors, Children, Teens, Needy Families, & Homeless within each area they are housed throughout our Commonwealth. This proposed regulation of 40% UOP in addition to removing the already allowable payments through UOP would be a heavy burden to many, if not all these organizations, if passed. Most would fold under such a burden. We are the organizations that provide for all citizens of our Commonwealth through the Charitable works afforded to us with the proceeds from Gaming. If this regulation is passed all is lost, not only the organizations that provide much needed charitable works, but all the citizens of Virginia who rely on such help. I urge the Legislators do not pass this regulation as proposed. The current 10% UOP is working, there is no need to change it.
