Charitable Gaming regulations - Use of Proceeds

11 VAC20-20-110 Use of Proceeds

The use of proceeds language as it is currently written will damage a lot of Fraternal Lodges' ability to continue operations which could result in closures of lots of smaller lodges and ultimately even larger lodges/organizations.  We believe that the use of proceeds language should be expanded to allow social/fraternal organizations to pay for the infrastructure that enables the activity associated with charitable gaming.  Building maintenance including utilities, supplies, salary expenses for management and operations are essential.  We are asking that these be included as "reasonable and operations expenses"

Thank you for your consideration.
