I am firmly against changing the laws requiring absentee ballot voters to have better penmanship.  This type of requirement was a ploy used to keep African Americans from voting in the south for many years.  We should not revert to these old techniques to eliminate poor voters from casting a ballot.  I received straight "A"s in grade school except for my penmanship which was very poor.  These efforts are attempts to take our voting rights back 50 years.
