I am amazed, again, by the ignorance of our lawmakers. Or, perhaps it is just the underhanded and slippery methods by which some find it necessary to manipulate the public. But, I completely disagree with this idea of eliminating ballots based on penmanship or omitting crosses on " T's " or dots on " I's ". You have the social security number and other data to verify if there is legitimate confusion. It may not be "cost effective" or convenient to verify these incidents but from a moral vs. immoral standpoint -- verifying is the right thing to do -- rather than simply trashing the ballot altogether.
