Proposed Virginia Administrative Code section 22 VAC 40-131-170

To whom it may concern;

It is a documented fact that children that are raised by two loving, married parents (one male, one female) do the best emotionally, and it adds to the stability of their upbringing if that home is also one grounded in faith. God placed man and woman on earth to compliment one another, and you certainly cannot get a child from a same sex relationship, it is physically impossible.

I understand that social services need monitor adoption agencies, but why do they  have to get involved in the private affairs of faith based adoption agencies, who base their adoptions on their beliefs. Beliefs that were ordained by God, (and they would be breaking Gods law should they choose to ignore it) a much higher law than the law of man. Now you may not agree with their belief system, but they are guaranteed the right to that belief system by our very own bill of rights.

If others choose to believe another way, they also have that right, but they need to stop stomping on the rights of Christians, and trying to usurp our laws that have governed this country since it was established by our founding fathers.

Please reconsider the outcome should this law be put in place. You would be responsible with harming the very children you were put in place to protect. I pray that their welfare is first on your minds, and on your hearts.

Sincerely,

Sandra Ordway
