I am so shocked to learn of the proposal to absolutely destroy religious liberties in the Proposed VA  Administration Code Section 22 VAC 40-131-170 regarding "discrimination" based on "sexual orientation" in regards to adoption agencies.  There is absolutely no discrimination involved in an individual(s) exercising their personal beliefs based upon well established religious traditions and teachings.  To equate sexual practices which is based upon taste or preferences to peoples or groups that are deemed minorities because of race or ethnicity or gender is absolutely an abuse of power in the highest order and a form of persecution of those who hold deeply held religious beliefs.  This country was founded upon principles that held freedom of choice and freedom of expression as the highest of ideals, and for a state like Virginia to even consider changing their laws to restrict those freedoms is more than unacceptable.  Please register my complaint as opposing this move.
