The abuse of a good does not diminish the good of a good

I am writing to express my opposition to new regulations proposed by the Virginia Department of Social Services.  Unfortunately the statement in Part 4 Section 12B has multiple statements that are unnecessary.  Although no one should discriminate based on race, color, gender, national origin, age, political beliefs, or diability; discrimination should not apply to religion, sexual orientation, and family status when it comes to faith based organizations.  To enforce this type of regulation would cause large organizations such as LDS Adoption Agencies, and Catholic Services to shut thier doors to countless families and children that need each other to survive.  Parents are aware that when going to these organizations, they must adhere to their beliefs.  These organizations are inherently good and the few who beg to differ should not diminish that good.

I strongly urge you to NOT adopt this measure.
