Adopted kids deserve a mom and a dad

I am writing to register my disapproval of the proposed regulation to force faith based adoption organizations to work with same sex couples seeking to adopt. Faith based organizations regard adoption from the following perspective:

Unfortunate circumstances result in children needing to be provided with functional stand-ins for their own parents. In these cases, a stable biological family should be replicated as closely as possible. This means that the child should be placed in a home with a married mother and father. This is a child-centered approach to adoption.

The proposed regulation  22VAC 40 131-170B represents efforts by a special interest group to mandate adult-centered adoption policies and eliminate religious organizations from providing child-centered adoption services. Please don't allow this regulation to proceed.
