Commenter: James Renwick Manship, Sr., aka "George Washington", God and Country Fdn.

Father and Mother as Foster or Adoptive Parents.

George and Martha Washington "adopted" two of the four children of her son John Parke Custis, or Jackie, after he died from "Camp Fever" shortly after the Victory at Yorktown where he served as an aide.

That bit of Virginia history serves as a wise guide for Virginia family policy now and into the future.

George Washington said, "Do my Duty to God and my Country", and children are the future of this country, this One Nation under God, indivisible, indivisible only when a nation under God.

Thus, We the People need to do our DUTY to do GW - God's Will in the work we do.  God's Will is shown in His creation plan where God created man and woman to join together with God to create a child.

Creation of a Child is more than just the procreative act of conception, gestation and birth, it also includes the nurturing, the "raising up" - done differently by man and woman so to create a truly balanced child, and to become a balanced, independent, balanced, competent and self-governing adult.

Certainly, far too many children raised in father and mother homes are not raised up as well as we all may pray, yet that does not justify starting them with a denial of balance of a homosexual couple.
