We need MORE choice not less. Taking away parent's rights to choose treatment and to determine when treatment is no longer necessary amounts to discontinuing treatment. Any time sufficient funds are not available the caregiver's triage process will automatically exclude the children they deem unworthy. I don't want control of that process to be in the same hands that perform treatment.I would rather my child have such treatment as the state can afford rather than have a small fraction of all the 'worthy' ones receive optimal treatment.
