Save the consumer. Require 3rd party testing.

The following e-mail chain (please read from the bottom up) will hopefully help to make your decision easier. The remediation of my home did not go well despite the company President's denial. I will readily offer proof to the board if requested. Prior to this chain, my attempt at an amicable resolution was met with verbal attacks and screaming.. I was called crazy, and a scam artist and told that I should seek therapy.  My previous post will give some insight as to what ocurred as a result of hiring a company that does both the remediation and clearance. I can with 100% certainty point out at least 8 posts in this forum that can be linked to the company that did the remediation work in my home. It should come as no surprise that all the posts suggest 3rd party clearance would be a nightmare. As the forum is just about to close, I do not have the time to fully detail and offer more proof in this post. As I stated earlier, I will happily offer proof  (and I have quite a bit) if the board is interested.

Tracy, I would be very careful on how you proceed. I can only conclude you have some sort of mental disorder and I simply do not want to see your handicap get you into a law suit for defamation against our company or another due to a minor mold issue that has been resolved. Your home does not have elevated levels of any type of mold including harmful mold. Your remediation was done properly. If an industrial hyg. from another company deems there is a mold issue then they can produce a scope of work and we can treat it under contract warranty. I seriously doubt that is the case. I know you are trying to scam your builder out of some sort of free ride from what I can tell. I will not be party to that type of action.  Your requests have been odd and outside of the scope of work or contract.

You have given me zero proof that the remediation preformed was incomplete
You have not asked us to return for any sort of warranty call.
Your requests are not redeemable under your contract.

Tracy again. I want to see you whole. I don't understand what you could possibly want. It seems you just like to complain even when people try to assist you. I wish you luck with life and health.

John Taylor

Moving on from a minor mold issue that has been remediated is your most productive move at this point. Please only write us if you have a legitimate complaint or require further services under contract. We are more than happy to provide you reasonable services.

John,

What in the world are you talking about? I never called you at midnight. The night I came home to the mess your company left behind, I called your office number to leave you a message, but you do not seem to have a personal mailbox. Is this the call to which you are referring?

You did not do a very good job. Ryan Homes industrial hygienist found signs of other molds in my home. They have not given me all the results as I suspect the room that incurred the most demolition is showing quite high for mold. Of course, Ryan wants to build back and offering me this information would certainly stop that from happening. I will have my own contractor conduct tests. One of the molds that has now shown up in the exercise room  is Chaetomium, a very dangerous mold, that was probably in my walls all along. Your company did not properly take care of the problem.

I was not asking for new references. I was asking you to prove that you worked for the institutions you provided as references prior to doing work in my home. I have called them. They do not have record of Mold Aid or Acquired Home Services having done work for them. Please read the e-mails more thoroughly. If your company did not provide services to these institutions, you have misrepresented yourself and committed fraud.

I have not harassed you or any other company. I have been wronged by at least two companies and I will not stand back and accept it.

Your comments are nonsensical and your barbs are useless. I would not allow you near my home again. Unless, you are willing to provide me with the proof I am requesting, then please do not contact me any further. Further action will be taken against your company.

Tracy

Ms. Albert again I assume?

Do you have work tomorrow? Your venting again and it is almost 11pm. That is better than midnight calls.

Tracy,

I am not sure how to address you any further. We have provided all services listed under our contract. I am confident we have done a very good job. If you have a warranty call I am happy to discuss that with you. I cannot however waste my time with yet another odd request. References are things you ask for prior to services. We will not give any of our valued clients contact information to someone who is already harassing our company and known to oddly harass other companies as well.

Please Ms. Albert I encourage you to move on with your life. Build back your home and get past the unfortunate water event and mold damage. Your home can easily be restored at this point. You should move forward in a more productive way. I hope you are able to do so soon.

I truly wish you well. I hope you are able to recover from a simple water and mold issue and continue on with a healthy productive life.  We are here to assist you should you require remediation services. I believe you have a two year warranty with us. I don't expect that you would have to use the warranty, however we will certainly honor a warranty call under our contract. Please feel free to call on me anytime you feel there is a legitimate concern for mold re-growth.

Kind Regard

John,

I would like service dates and contacts for the references you provided. NIH, The Naval Research Laboratories, and Dulles Airport stated that they did not have a record of Mold Aid or Acquired Home Services having done work for them. I will be contacting Walter Reed Hospital as well. If you have provided services to these institutions, it would be in your best interest to offer me the proof. I chose to hire Mold Aid/Acquired Home Services, because I felt certain that your company must be top notch if such respectable institutions chose to hire you.

I assure you that I am well enough to receive the information I have requested.
