I would prefer the Interim reporting over the 6 month renewals.  I feel we should make the clients responsible for completing reports and providing proof of changes as stated on the IR.  We should also prorate their benefits when they return the form the month after it is due (just like they are prorated when filing a late snap renewal).  What ever happened to making the client self sufficient.  The clients are the ones getting the benefits.  Make them responsible, hold them accountable for reporting changes in their circumstances.

I feel most EW's do not have time in their busy schedule to complete applications and schedule appointments for renewals.  It is almost impossible to get the clients to come to their interviews when scheduled.  Some reschedule as many as three times before completing the review process.  That in itself is a waste of time for the EW as the time set aside could be used for an application appointment.   

Now for the clients, I feel it would be a hardship for those who do not have their own transportation and rely on others to bring them to their appointments.  Or for those who work and must take off to come to interview. 

Let us think about what would be best for the clients and the EW's.  Not just one or the other but BOTH.
