I have been with Danville Social Services approximately 15 years and in that time I have seen so many changes.  With each change we are told that this will simplify our jobs.  Most times it just complicates things more, but I have to say the Interim Report has decreased the workload.  I cringe to think that I would have to see my reviews, related initials and interims face to face each month.  I would not have much time to complete the work related to each of these interviews.  In my opinion we should do a year review and make them report ALL changes throughout the year.  Our caseloads have increase approximately 60% and we have three empty position which we have taken over.  I think it is time to step back and look at what you are asking the EW's to accomplish.  We need to make the clients more responsible.
