As we are the seventh largest county in Va. with most population in the rural areas we encounter transportion issues for many of our recipients.   Our ABD clientele rely  on rides from family, neighbors and friends who may not be able to coordinate with their schedules.  Also,  due the economy and gas prices the request for a phone interview has increased greatly which has worked well for them and us especially our fixed income persons.

Requiring Interim Reporting allows for some responsibility for the client and encourages them to report changes.   I do not believe taxpayers should have to incur the cost of a second request for the interim report and if we could stop some of the constant changes related to the IR the clients would know how to respond.
