Serves no useful purpose

The proposed CE requirements will not make better or more competent engineers, architects, or other regulants.  In my opinion, policies such as this are "feel good" in nature and serve no useful purpose.  To the contrary, they will impose a significanct financial burden on the 35,000 affected regulants, not to mention the increased cost of administration at the state level.  I urge the APELSCIDLA Board not to adopt the proposed regulatory changes.
