Greetings !
I respectfully urge the Virginia Department of Forestry to amend the Administrative Code and to support the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Virginians and other visitors to your jurisdiction.
As a current resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, and a holder of a concealed carry permit, I respectfully request that you take the necessary steps to ensure the right of self defense by all citizens is protected while visiting your forests and parks.
At one time I lived in Woodbridge, Virginia, and am now retired. My wife and I travel and, from time to time, apply for camp host positions in the various National, State and Forest Service campgrounds.
We look forward to visiting our relatives on the Eastern Seaboard and, of course, spending leisure time in Virginia too.
We are responsible and reasonable adults and would greatly appreciate your recognition of this fact by your amending the current law to allow concealed carry to come and go unmolested.
Sincerely,
Dan Wild
