I respectfully urge the Virginia Department of Forestry to amend the Administrative Code and to support the Second Amendment rights of we law-abiding Virginians. I do not see why our 2nd Amendment Constitutional rights have to be relinguished to enter a State Forest.
Again, I urge your support in making our State forests more safe for all by supporting this amendment. Its been proven time and again that crime goes down where the people have the right to defend themselves. Bad guys will never know who is armed. This fact alone reduces crime.
As you know, the proposed amendment to Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC10-30-170, will would allow concealed carry permit holders the ability to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense in Virginia's state forests.
