Dear Governor,

Please keep Virginia in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. The Commonwealth must work with other states to help reduce our carbon emissions.

Virginia's pollution reduction program is already helping drive down greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality and public health. But the program also brings in desperately needed revenue to help Virginians. Through just one year, Virginia's program has generated $228 million that is already creating more energy-efficient affordable housing units, assisting low-income families in reducing energy bills, and enhancing community flood prevention and protection efforts.

That's a good start, but we can't stop now. Please support Virginia's participation in the RGGI.
