EV charging on VA's grid is more Carbon Intense than other Alternative Fuels like Propane

The Carbon Intensity of the electric grid in VA is 136.9g. CO2eq/MJ electricity produced.  By comparison, conventional propane in VA, is 79.3g. CO2eq/MJ energy produced.  Additionally, blending a 50/50 mix of conventional propane and renewable propane in VA produces 47.0g. CO2eq/MJ of energy produced.  So, if the true goal is to reduce Carbon, using propane and renewable propane is far less Carbon Intensive than the electric grid in VA.
