I support Governor Youngkin taking Virginia out of RGGI and repealing the Virginia Clean Energy Act.  The push to go to all electric vehicles is very misguided as the mining for minerals needed for the electric batteries is very destructive to the environment and natural water resources.  Their production also produces pollutants into the air.  This legislation along with the Transportation Climate Initiative will increase unnecessary costs for Virginians as well.  SCC oversight over Dominion Power should also be restored so rate payers are not paying for financially risky energy alternatives that otherwise would not be funded.
