Energy supply must be provided by best economic impact be it nuclear, fossil, hydro, wind or solar.  Government subsidies must not be included.   Agriculture land use must not be compromised or traded off.  Wind and solar have very limited life and efficiency as time rolls on.  

Without reliable, long life and low-cost batteries for storage, solar has limited value.  

Green deal is not a viable argument.
