It amazes me that so many believe that wind and solar will work; it is a fringe source of energy. Nuclear energy is the only real alternate. Until we have reliable energy source, we had better keep something that works. California is model for almost everything that does not work. There are 289 million cars in the US; do you really thing that they can be electric or that the rare metals to build them are available. China actually has most of the Lithium in the world.
