Having been a Virginian for 32 years, that currently lives in North Carolina and conducts a large part of business in the Commonwealth, I wanted to exercise my voice on this subject because I have been in the propane industry for 33 years.  This clean, renewable, low carbon energy source provides energy solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, automotive, and back-up generation energy needs.   Propane is an important part of Virginia's energy mix and should not be dismissed or overlooked for the future of Virginia.  Propane is produced in the United States and provides around 1,600 full-time jobs in Virginia. This environmentally friendly energy source has been the mainstay of my career and can be the same for future propane jobs in the Commonwealth. Propane is an American energy source for all Virginians!
