I am a parent of two high school students in Loudoun County, Virginia and I want to state my strong opposition to this policy. Homophobia and transphobia harm the LGBTQ community and this policy portrays this community as deviants and contributes to these hateful attitudes and behaviors. The LGBTQ+ community deserves to see themselves represented in art and literature and everyone benefits from learning about those different from them.  I am disgusted by the efforts to push these policies in Virginia.  Virginia is for Lovers, not Haters. Enough is enough.
