Strongly Oppose

I would like to echo the concerns offered by Leslie Street and other commenters regarding the Virginia Department of Education's draft policy.  I trust educators more than parents to determine appropriate school content.  Educators have the education and training to be able to select appropriate content for students, while parents do not and may even be motivated to share less information - or wrong information - with their children than is actually needed for those children's development into adults with agency over their own minds and bodies.

I oppose this proposed regulation.
