exclusion has no place in public schools

When people comment that we need to stop pushing an "agenda" they need to realize how privileged they are. All students should feel recognized, valued, heard and seen. All children should be treated with dignity at school - not just the ones who look like you and believe what you do. Students can handle learning the truth and pretending the truth doesn't exist does not create a safe learning environment especially for students already at risk. Teach your fear at home if you must, but don't push your harmful, exclusionary nonsense into public education.  Public education is for ALL.
