Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).

OPPOSE

As an educator I strongly oppose this bill. It is important for students to be aware of different sexual identities. Students in the LGBTQ+ community are already at high risk for mental health issues and if this bill passes more mental health issues will continue to worsen.
