Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).

Parents are ultimately responsible for the education of their children, and should be informed of any instructional material that is sexually explicit. Lacking in this document are any consequences for school boards that fail to follow this guidance.
