Thank you for recognizing that parents should have the right to know if their child will be exposed to explicit materials in school.  We can parent better when we have the tools to prepare are children in advance, rather than doing damage control after a trusted teacher has introduced our student to a topic possibly inappropriate for their age or contrary to our beliefs. While we may entrust our children to the public school system, we do not give up responsibility to guide and parent our children well.
