DO NOT DISCRIMINATE: Vote NO on SB 656

Support our Educators - VOTE NO on SB 656

I have confidence in the trained educators in the public schools to know what is age appropriate for their students.  Children should  learn about gender, sexual identity and sexuality in a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere both at home and in the classroom.  Governor, Do Not Discriminate on the basis of sexual identity or orientation.  Intentionally shutting down these normal, healthy, and curious conversations will just create fear and hatred when we should be fueling acceptance and respect for our differences in our classrooms. What are you and those who support banning these conversations so afraid of? Don't you trust the judgment of our teachers? And kids are going to talk among themselves anyhow. Why not give them a healthy platform for discussion?
