I relied on books/novels to teach me about sex and relation-
ships. The school didn't teach sex ed and my parents were terrified of the topic, so I had to learn somehow.
I have a Master's in Education, which provides me with more knowledge than a non-teacher parent to make decisions about curriculum. I have no problem sharing my plans but I don't tell a doctor how to do her job, or an accountant how to do his job, etc. Parents need to get over themselves and trust the employees that the school hires to make decisions that are best for the education of children.
