Opposed as legislation denies essential education

Virginia's children of all ages deserve an education that is grounded in the real world. They should be receiving age appropriate sex education from early childhood upwards, both at home and in school. Parents, teachers and children should be supported in this education by having access to the materials they need. Those materials should not be limited by the legislature but should be developed and/or put forward by the educational system and by libraries. If a parent wants to deny their student access to education it should not effect what is available to the rest of the students. This legislation denies essential education to all of our children.
