I have serious concerns about the VDOE’s model policies concerning instructional materials with “sexually explicit content,” a broadly vague term.

Fairfax County schools have been very successful in graduating accomplished learners and preparing children and young adults for success. Certain right wing groups have poured money into hyping up the numbers of "concerned parents" on this issue. In reality it is a small minority. As a regular taxpayer and parent in the county, I have no problem with the policies of the schools and the judgement of librarians. 

Leave education to trained educators and stay out of this.
