This bill discounts the expertise of educators who are trained to teach students about complex concepts and subjects, and keeps students from being exposed to diverse viewpoints and stories. Parents, who are not trained to do so and have personal and cultural biases should not have the power to disrupt the learning of a whole classroom/school because of something they have an opinion on. This new law will further disrupt the education of young children and keep classrooms from being thriving grounds for free speech and understanding.
