I am opposed to banning books and opposed to this law.

It is clear that books may be limited and banned based on broadsweeping definitions that will significantly harm the LGBTQIA+ community.  Books can provide desperately needed reflections of self and can do so much good.  I am concerned about what this means about eliminating discussions with diversity of opinion and lived experience in other forms as well - race, culture, religion, and more.

This bill is eliminating access to affirming books and education that will have real consequences.

Do not take away these perspectives, lived experiences, and diversity.
